Having GPs involved in the allocation of appointments has improved the service I have received.
I have been able to see the GP of my choice by travelling to one of the three Nidderdale sites.
I recognise that further evolution will be required due to the national context of increasing demand and falling resources.
Provided I can pick up medication at my nearest surgery, I am happy to travel to one of the other two sites if necessary to see a health-care professional.
