The NHS in South Worcestershire is piloting a new telephone service to try to help GP Practices cope with increasing demand as the shortage of GPs nationally gets worse. Practices can choose whether or not to take part in the new scheme. Access for patients to see or speak to a GP at Whiteacres is among the best in the county, so, before we decide, we would like your opinion.

Do you think Whiteacres should:

A. Join the new scheme, where patients who phone the Surgery will be given the option of choosing to be diverted to speak to a Nurse Practioner in Droitwich, or a Pharmacist, for advice rather than speaking to the Surgery Receptionist.

B. Continue as at present, with patients phoning to speak to a Receptionist at the Surgery to make appointments to see or speak to a Doctor or a Practice Nurse at Whiteacres.
