14. What is your preferred choice of communication with the practice for booking appointments?
One of the difficulties we have faced in recent years is providing sufficient appointments and keeping our waiting times low. One solution to this is to provide more short appointments. A short appointment is a five minute appointment designed to deal with a single quick problem. It is anticipated this would shorten our waiting times. If we offered more it would still be a tiny fraction (less than 10%) of our appointments.
15. Do you agree we should offer a greater number of 5 minute appointments?
16. Would you use such an appointment on occasions?
