1. When booking an appointment at the Surgery, how important is it to you that you see the Doctor you are registered with?
2. Some GP surgeries are introducing a telephone triage system to their patients as it is hoped that this system will cut out unnecessary visits to the surgery and allow patients faster access to health information and advice. This means that any patient that telephones the surgery will initially have a telephone consultation with either an experienced qualified nurse practitioner or a GP and they will then be offered the most appropriate pathway which would include; advice, an appointment, a prescription. How would you feel if we introduced this system.
3. Some GP surgeries are offering their patients appointments at different locations, such as in a consulting room at a local supermarket. We are considering trialling this, do you think this would be helpful.
4 We are considering holding a minor illness clinic which will be led by a qualified and experienced nurse practitioner. This will be for minor ailments such as sore throats, coughs, earache and others. Would you be happy to use this service, if you were suffering from a minor ailment.
