We are trying to establish an accurate picture of what additional appointments our patients want.
The latest GP survey results reported that 192/354 (54%) patients answered YES to:
'Would you like your surgery to be open at additional times'. From the 192 patients 146 patients answered:
| before 8am | 14% (20) |
| at lunchtime | 14% (21) |
| after 6.30pm | 21% (30) |
| On a Saturday | 48% (70) |
Over the past 2 years we have had more than 90% attendance in the appointments provided after 6.30pm and we believe this is a service that our patients value.
Please answer the following questions to help us ascertain your needs.
Q1. How often do you make use of the extended late appointments on Mondays and Thursdays?
Q2. Are you satisfied with the extended late appointments that the practice provides?
It may be the case that we can only offer one of the additional service types
