GP practices now offer a number of different types of telephone contacts. The practice would like to know how useful you found these contacts or appointments and how they could be improved.

  1. GP telephone assessment or triage when requesting an appointment . This is where you might ring up for an appointment and the receptionist takes details and the GP rings you back a short time later. The GP may give telephone advice or arrange a face to face consultation.
  2. Telephone call-back eg at the end of surgery . This is where the GP rings back at the end of surgery to give advice rather than arranging a formal face to face appointment.
