Your views on our action plan

Our face to face Patient Participation Group (PPG) looked at lots of feedback about the practice. This included complaints received in 2013/14, survey results and demographic information about patients registered here. The PPG didn't find anything in the feedback that suggested obvious areas that the practice needs to improve on.

The PPG therefore suggested the following areas:
1) The practice and how to use it - especially the appointment system and other services in the practice
2) Improving the patient experience at reception - noise levels, space, decor and artwork
3) Improving the patient experience on the way in to the health centre - painting and planting the garden boxes

Please tell us la little about yourself and then tell us what you think about our action plan to tackle these areas .

To address the topic of knowing more about the practice and how to use it - especially the appointment system and other services in the practice - we plan to review our leaflets, posters and information as well as our website

To address the topic of improving the patient experience at reception - noise levels, space, decor and artwork we plan to get advice about how to reduce noise, use the space better (especially to stop the log jam at the front door) and to improve the decor and artwork.

To address the topic of improving the patient experience on the way in to the health centre we plan to refurbish and look after the garden boxes with the help of a local charity which is interested in gardens.
