Truro Health Park was designed with a purpose built Minor Operation Suite. So far this has only been used to provide our patients with the removal of minor lumps and bumps and vasectomies. We would like to extend this service with other surgical procedures, for example:-
Hernia repairs, Carpal tunnel release, Ganglion*, Trigger finger/thumb release, Dupuytren's contracture and other additional dermatological procedures.
To become a provider of these services would mean considerable investment and training for the Practice. Before we apply to become a provider we would like your views of this service development and whether you think this is something that would appeal to our patients. We would be most grateful if you would complete our short survey.
*Surgery for ganglion of the wrist will only be funded for patients who have persistent pain (i.e. pain without spontaneous resolution within 1 to 2 years) or Functional restriction or Evidence of nerve compression.
