Patient Survey 2013
As a means of improving our services we plan to carry out a practice survey every year focusing on different aspects of our care. Last year we looked at how effectively the practice was communicating with patients via the website, newsletter etc. This year's survey will follow on from this to see how successful we have been and to see how easy it is for patients to communicate with us via the telephone and other means.
Firstly some questions following up on last year's survey:
How often do you use our website?
Have you used the website to order a repeat prescription?
If so, did you find this convenient and did you have any problems?
Would you like to have the option of booking appointments online?
Have you seen our practice newsletter
If yes, do you have any suggestions how it could be improved?
Secondly some questions about how easy you found it to contact the practice:
Do you find it easy to get through to the practice by telephone?
Is the waiting time before your call is answered acceptable?
Would you prefer an automated telephone system?
Is it easy for you to get an appointment at a time convenient to you?
When you arrive at the surgery, are you greeted promptly?
When you arrive at the surgery, would you like the option of an automated check in?
Would you like to have the option to directly e-mail the practice?
And lastly, we would like to include a representative sample of ages, sex and backgrounds so it would be really nice to have some questions about you:
Are you male or female?
Which age group are you in?
Are you:
What is your ethnic background?
How frequently do you come to the surgery?
What is your overall impression of the care you receive at the surgery?
Next year we plan to carry out a different survey. What aspects of our care should we choose? (eg appointments, practice staff, repeat prescriptions, the building etc)
